Youth Counseling Program
The Youth Counseling Program provided by the Winnie Stowell Hospital District provides counseling services to all adolescents ages 12-19 years old that is 1) a resident of the District; and 2) eligible to attend school in the East Chambers Independent School District. This service is provided at no cost to the families.
The program hopes to assist in the optimization of conduct and family function, increase mood stability and mental strength, increase the avoidance of drugs and alcohol along with an increased attendance at school/work. Counseling sessions are provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor with a combined 25 years of counseling and teaching experience.
